For the Young Ones
Because children who are at home in their bodies become adults who live from the inside out.
Recess is a movement program created for children—a joyful, imaginative space where kids explore rhythm, coordination, and creative expression through play and guided dance. In Recess, there's no performance pressure, no rigid technique, just the pure, exhilarating experience of moving freely in a safe and nurturing container.
In Recess, children learn to inhabit their bodies with confidence, curiosity, and delight. There's no performance pressure here—just a nurturing space where movement becomes a celebration. Kids discover their own rhythm, learn to move with intention and joy, and develop a relationship with their bodies that lasts a lifetime.
Through guided play and creative exploration, they build coordination, spatial awareness, and physical confidence. Every child moves at their own pace, in their own way, within our safe and supportive community.
Children develop coordination, spatial awareness, and physical confidence—discovering what their bodies can do and how to move through space with intention and grace.
Kids find their unique movement voice through play and exploration, learning that there's no single "right way" to move, only their authentic way.
Moving together builds empathy, trust, and community. Children learn to move with others, to listen with their bodies, and to celebrate one another's presence.
Recess is for children who are curious, playful, and ready to move. Whether this is their first dance experience or they've been moving their whole lives, there's a place for them here.
